This weekend Borders is running a 25% sale on everything for educators. I don't really consider myself an educator but since I have a Faculty/Staff ID from Harley I'm all over that discount!

Most of the books I'm interested in are computer related and VERY expensive (~$50). But I found a nice cheap one that looked interesting called 1337 h4x0r h4ndb00k. It basically tells you how to recognize and live a 1337 lifestyle. It even instructs you on leet speak:

english: I didn't really care for that movie.
leet: dat dot mov was teh lose!

english: wow, i won.
leet: omgz (oh my godz) lolz!! i pwned j00r @55!

english: i am learning how to become an elite hacker.
leet: i 4/\/\ 134|2/\/i/\/9 |-|0\/\/ 2 83c0m3 4 1337 h4x0r, roffle-mayo.

english: sigh, what in the world is that supposed to be?
leet: *sighs* wtf b dat f00?

english: i'm tired.
leet: i'm 80u7 2 m4k3 lik3 ie &cr45h. /m3h y4wn5

You definitely show more of your computer geekness everyday! I hope I don't get that weird with computer stuff. Although I do have a book on hacking exposed, which I have yet to read.

Yeah I know, it comes out every once in a while. This stuff isn't very useful in real life, but it's fun knowing what it is when you see it. I have a few "hacking exposed"-ish books laying around. They're neat in showing you how things are exploitable but they are always out of date.
