Mid-Season Finale

You know what's annoying? Getting to the end of the season of one of your favorite TV shows. You know what's absolutely infuriating? This seemingly new concept of a mid-season finale. Last year (or maybe the one before) we started noticing a bunch of shows we watch start showing reruns in the middle of the season, for weeks on end! Well they finally seem to have named this phenominon. Since these shows have their mid-season finales at the end of November and start back up in mid January they're obviously taking a break for the holidays. I understand running repeats on holiday nights, but I think it's crazy to just put shows completely on hiatus for almost 2 months.
