OMG I'm 30!!

Yeah so I'm 30 years old today and I'm not terribly thrilled about it. I guess it's not so bad, I just need to get used to the idea of not being in my twenties anymore. I still feel like I'm in my twenties and usually act like I'm in my low teens, so it'll probably be okay.

I had a very low-key birthday weekend which was needed. I'm really glad Rachelle didn't throw me a surprise party or anything (I don't really like surprises). Saturday we just kind of lounged around most of the day; my big excursion was mowing the lawn which desperately needed it. Rachelle made a wonderful dinner and we went out to a movie.

Instead of a cake Rachelle made me a birthday apple pie. I think it was an excellent choice. I'll feel way less dirty eating leftover pie than leftover cake for breakfast.
