Poor Flashlight
When I got home from work today Rachelle was taking a nap on the couch, so I went upstairs to hang out and not disturb her. My desk was a total shithole so I decided to clean it up a little and found 2 flashlights. It just so happens I was in desperate need of one two days ago, figures right? One of the flashlights was my mini maglite that I haven't seen in a very long time. The batterys were long dead and as I expected when I opened the bottom, it was full of fuzzy/crusty crap from leaky batteries.

When I cleaned off the crud I noticed that it ate a significant amount of the metal! I've cleaned out tons of crusty batteries in my day, but I've never seen one do that much damage.

I cleaned it up and put new batteries in, but it didn't work. I didn't have time to see if the bulb was blown or if the corrosion messed up the battery contacts (hopefully not).
